This guy blew our home sale apart, contradicting other appraisal just LESS than 30 days prior. Did not do his due diligence in pulling proper comps or techniques to find real value of our home. When he showed up he already had a pre disposed attitude on not making the appraisal value, he verbally indicated and made remarks about our neighborhood location and the demographics that make it up and as to that being why he didn’t see the value. Yet a more accomplished longer practicing appraiser evaluated our property using proper technique and comps to support show and prove it’s real value. He was over $17,000 lower than the appraisal we just had…again less than 30 days prior. He even had the balls to appraise our house LESS than our market value according to our recent tax assessment. I was a licensed appraiser here in the south and the Midwest. We will be seeking legal ramifications as well as reporting this appraiser to all and necessary boards for review as well. Brian Whitten appraises people homes with predisposed discrimination, lack of ethics and morals to be playing with peoples federal lending. He should have his license taken away, with proper fines and or jail time
