Christian A. Peterson was selected to appraise my home for a Reverse Mortgage Loan. He spent a total of 10 minutes at my home. He didn't sit down and find out what non-standard features my home had so he could better compare it to other homes. He claimed his primary comp. was a custom home on a custom lot with many custom features. With a little research I found his comp. was built by the same builder I used and in the same builders subdivision. Therefore, it didn't really have all of the custom features he claimed mine didn't have. His comp. sold recently for $550,000 but had less square footage and a smaller lot than mine. My appraisal came in at $460,000. My home had a $100,000 in professional landscaping his comp. didn't have, etc. etc. etc. I highly recommend you not use this appraiser under any circumstances.
