Gave useless appraisal for $695. I own three parcels of lakefront property that are currently mortgaged. He gave me an appraisal that only included the one parcel that the house was on when I attempted to refinance. Refused to consider the other two parcels although they are part of my current refinance. The SEV of the parcels that weren't considered comes to over $28,000. By that yardstick alone, any appraisal of the value of the mortgaged property would be over $55,000 short. And it was in that neighborhood. Therefore, I cannot refinance. The county and my realtor cannot explain why an appraiser would do something like that.
