I think the mortgage company (AmeriSave) is in on a scam with certain appraisers. Our house was appraised at about 40,000 less than it should have been and then they all just disappeared- we think they split the cost of the appraisal ($500), Karma. Wait for it.

This guy have no ideal how to pull comps or is to lazy to do so. His appraisal fell 50,000 dollar lower than 3 homes on my street with smaller lots and smaller square footage. The average selling price in my subdivision is low 200000. If he missed 50000 on a 240000 home who in the world would use him. Don't a respectable appraiser. I wouldn't be surprised to find out he has had a troubled past. Would never use him again. Feels like he just stole 425.00 of my money

I had one of the worst experiences ever.  Jason did an appriasal and was way below the asking price.  He was sent numerous comps to prove this needed to be correcred.  The AMC sent notice over for a revision and after sitting on this for about 2 weeks he just went dark and stopped returning calls.  This was very unprofessional and is now costing me money due to having to extend a lease.  If he had a problem he should have voiced it so that we could cancel the appraisal and do another ASAP and not weeks later after he went dark on us.  I would steer far from this person as he doesn't know what he is doing and is very unprofessional
