Ms. Patterson-Freeman did or appraisal of our property recently and did a poor job. She had numerous mistakes on the first appraisal submitted and I contacted the lender to correct them. She also used poor comps to appraise our property. Prior to refinancing, I called my local Realtor to get an estimate of our property. Only after doing this step did we contact a lender. The lender had to request twice to correct the problems with the appraisal. We went to another lender and they requested another appraisal. There was over $130,000 difference. When I requested a refund I was stonewalled by Street Links Appraisal Management Company.
