Lon Packard spent 15 minutes at best, in our newly remodeled home, gave zero consideration to the nearly $150,000 remodel on a $228,000 home, and low balled the appraisal, killing the financing deal for our buyer, planning financing with Amarillo National Bank. And the Bank is complicit in derailing the deal as they will not even consider an appraisal done in September for over a $25,000 difference, putting the contracted sale price below the September appraisal. The buyer's realtor tried to pressure us to drastically reduce the selling price due to the new appraisal. All this - 10 days before the closing date. Bank, appraiser, realtor -- all the sorriest bunch of unprofessionals we've met.
