This appraiser phoned me, asking to come to the house in 5 minutes. It was the first I had heard from him and no appointment had be set. He stated that if I was unable to do the appraisal at that time, it would be $300 more for him to return at another time. He spent a total of 5 minutes in the house and refused to include a seasonal addition of the house in the evaluation. The report I received contained inaccurate information; Windows listed as storm, they are not. That he inspected the attic crawl space, there isn't one and he never asked about an attic. The basement and heating system was listed, he never entered the basement and the heating system was inoperable at the time, with some of the cast iron radiators removed.
I would advise to never use Thomas Konius. He refused to return any of our money. Highly unprofessional and has no business being in the industry.
