We received a phone call from our realtor that our appraisal was going to be done at 4pm and Mr. Mobley was an hour and a half late. The "comps" that he has listed are all less than one mile radius of our home and are not true "comps". The "comps" listed did not have the same number of beds, baths, or square footage. The sale of our home fell thru due to the poor quality of this appraisal. Mr Mobley's appraisal was even $2000 less than the appraisal done on our house in 2008 when the housing market was at it's lowest. In this zip code I know without a doubt that our house value did not drop $2000 since that time.
