This appraiser scheduled an appointment with me and showed up with her adult son in tow 40 minutes before our agreed upon appointment time.  After ringing the doorbell three times her son started beating on my front door while my wife was working and on a conference call.  When she came downstairs to see what was going on, they were on my back patio and he was beating on that door too which naturally scared my wife.  When she asked them what they were doing he got indignant stating "I rang the doorbell" as if she was some idiot.  They never introduced themselves just said they were here to appraise the house.  When my wife said that the appointment wasn't until 2:30 (40 minutes early), Carolyn claimed the appointment was at 2:00 (still 20 minutes early).  When I arrived, she was argumentative with me on the appointment time and it was obvious that an appraisal from her would be a useless piece of paper based on her attitude to me and my wife, so I asked her to leave.  I am also filing a complaint with the VA about her service and lack of competency to appraise homes for the VA.
