This appraisal was contracted to Ms.Jorgensen through my mortagage company for a refinance on our home. Jorgensen came to the property on March 12th 2022 and all seem fine at first. She did her walk about then informed us that things were busy, but she would submit the appraisal the following Wednesday.  She failed to submit the report. The deadline passed and I contact both my mortage company and Ms. Jorgensen to inquire status and she advised us she was having computer issues, but the report was complete and would be sent that evening. This was March 28th 2022.  I waited a few days and contacted my mortage company to confirm they recieved the report and to my surprise they had not.  My husband called Jorgensen March 3rd and the call went to voicemail. He left a message inquiring about an update. The following day on March 4th I called her and she answered. I asked her why the report not be sent as she had previously told us it had been? She gave us the same excuse about the computer issue and said she had subitted the report the evening of the 3rd to our mortage company.  She asked me to call my mortage company to confirm and then call her back to verify.  No report had been recieved.  I tried the rest of the day to get ahold of her. She would not answer her phone and her voice mail box was full. March the 7th I contacted Xome Property Appraisal who is the company I paid for the appraisal. While I waited on hold the representative contacted Jorgensen to find out why there was an issue submitting the report and she was told by Jorgensen she was having issues with obtaining comparable comps and she would submit the report to them directly by the end of the business day.  I contacted Xome the following day on March the 8th to verify it was recieved as indicated and found out that it was not.  They advised me they were monitoring the situation and had called Jorgensen to ask why she did not follow through as promised. She advised Xome the report would be sent within 3 hours of that conversation.  The company refunded my money due to all the delays and troubles we had with this particular appraiser. Ms. Jorgensen caused us un needed delays with our refinance and underwriting.  I hope no one has to repeat this experience with this appraiser and I would not recommend her services.
