We were told the buyer's appraiser would be at the house and planned on not being home as we were not required to be. We completed our errands early and arrived at the house to see a vehicle was blocking our driveway. We exited our vehicle to ask the appraiser to kindly move her car. She made a comment that she was the appraiser and told me that no one was supposed to be home. I commented back and said we had completed our business errands and thanked her for moving her car. She said something under her breath and walked past me to say "I am not doing the appraisal and you can find another". I gasped and asked why. she then said" you can laugh now but you won't later" and then threatened the sale of the house to us. ABSOLUTELY unprofessional, abrasive, and uncalled for. We all have bad days but to act that way and then to say she would sabotage the sale of the house was ridiculous. Why would a professional even block a driveway to begin with as there was already a car in the drive way to begin with??  Horrible experience with this appraiser
