I was purchasing my home from a close friend for $130,000 - which was listed below market rate already. Mr. Baldwin proceeded to appraise this home at $109,000. Two months later the home was re-appraised for $140,000, and one year later, $175,000. Homes prices are increasing in Cobb Cty, but not at that rate. So now I am out an extra $7,000 in closing costs because I had to re-finance my home to square everything up with the seller. Thank you Mr. Baldwin.
