John P. O'Neill was hired through Wells Fargo to complete an appraisal on a house for a home mortgage. Not only did this appraiser not turn in his report on time (we were told he was late by 2 weeks by Wells Fargo), he was unreachable to make revisions to the report as needed by Wells Fargo. Our mortgage company tried to get the appraiser to respond to questions for a week and a half and was told that this appraiser was on vacation and that no one could fill his spot. When the final appraisal was received it was after the closing date and we would have lost our $50k deposit if we were not able to buy the home by other means. I do not recommend John P. O'Neill's services as an appraiser, especially if a timely appraisal is needed.
