My first appraisal for my first home. Realtor and banker said it would take forever. This guys got the appraisal, inspected the house, and finished it back to the bank in 3 days. Pretty painless.

My appraisal on the house I was selling actually came in lower than contract. BUT, it turns out my house was significantly smaller than what the tax office had. I ended up selling my house later to a different seller, but because Halstead did such a thorough job measuring, I was able to get refunded for TEN YEARS of taxes that I had overpaid due to the tax office mistakes. It more than made up for the differences in the two contract prices. Hopefully will get to use them much more.
