This appraiser included the wrong purchase price on the appraisal report of the home we were looking to purchase - his incorrect price was $140,000 less than what we agreed to pay for the home. He then appraised the home to the incorrect purchase price and used comparable properties that had 1 less bedroom and 1.5 less bathrooms. He spent less than 5 mins in the house looking around and when we complained about his sloppy work, he couldn't even remember if he had been in the house and said he hadn't gone inside, although we know he did since the realtor met him there. Totally screwed up the purchase of our new home and has cost us a lot of $$ to fix his error. Really disappointing and sloppy work!
