Mortgage company initiated the appraisal. The guy appraised the wrong property, even after calling us to get details. The lot he appraised was not even close to the size that our lot is, which should have been red flag #1. The lot was also empty and maintained; the exact opposite of what we told him ours was (wooded and undeveloped). The price he came up with for the wrong lot is easily half of what it is actually worth. Took him over a month to make the wrong appraisal. Mortgage company told him to make a revision yet he has gone silent. We have tried contacting him ourselves twice now and cannot get him to answer or return our call. This guy should NOT be in business. Avoid like the plague!!!!
