VERY FRUSTRATED!!! Appraisals are based on opinions. We purchased our house in 2012 for $155,000 and it was appraised at $160,000. Since then we redid bathrooms, got new water heater, had brickwork done. He appraised our house for $147,000. I can tell you right now houses in our area that have 2-3 bedrooms are running at that rate. We have 5 bedrooms. His opinion might be a bit off in our opinion.
