Ms. Phillips was assigned as the appraiser for the sale of a property I owned with my brother in Fairmont WV. Although the initial appraisal for the sale of the property was conducted efficiently we had also asked for a cost basis appraisal. We were assured this would be done in due time since it was not urgent. I contacted Ms Phillips approximately a month after the close of the property and asked when I could expect the appraisal. She said in one month or so. It is now 7+ months later and her office refuses to respond to my repeated phone calls and texts and emails. Absolutely inexcusable customer service. If you are conducting real estate transactions in North Central WV and your bank assigns her firm you should definitely appeal that and do not give this firm any of your business.
