Laziest appraiser ever

Laziest appraisal I've ever seen. Our new, nice, stick built home with acreage in Custer, was valued the same as mobile homes with acreage in our area. Our home isn't a mobile home and it's new and nice! In addition, the homes that were used to be compared to ours were attached town homes in town, without any acreage, septic systems, or wells. Very disappointed at the laziness of this appraiser. When we filed a Reconsideration of Value, we provided three comparable sales that have sold in the last 6 months in our area. He refused to include any of these items in his appraisal or consider changing the value at all. In addition, he claimed we were biased because we provided him with three appropriate comparable properties, which is what you're supposed to do with a Reconsideration of Value. We are currently filing a complaint with the SD Real Estate Commission. Hopefully, he won’t be able to hurt anyone else going forward. Steer clear if you're looking for an appraiser!
