Shawn was very unfriendly when he came to our home to appraise it. He came in about $40K less on the appraisal than the real estate agent had valued my house at. He was from out of town and had not done his research on the housing market in my town. I've done some updates to my house and he did NOT take any of those in to consideration. He is a horrible appraiser and was not friendly at all. I think it made him uncomfortable that my husband and I spoke Spanish around him. Luckily I was able to find a different bank and a different appraiser that appraised it correctly to get my home refinanced.
