Appraiser will give you multiple excuses as to why the appraisal cannot be completed by the ETA she gives after inspecting. We ran into it with the first assignment we gave her and it was a week late. We gave her another shot and after 2 extensions she backed out of the assignment 2 weeks after she inspected it. The only work that had been done on the appraisal was the inspection. She backed out the final date she guaranteed it would be in.
