Very disappointed with the lack of knowledge exhibited by Mr. Tucker. He appraised my house for a finance company on a sale. He was hired by the finance company, representing the buyers. He put a value of $30,000 on a 1800 square foot garage with office/living space built in 2000 at a cost of $155,000. Three out of four comps were from a different town with a median price $200,000 less than my town..... He had a complete lack of understanding for the property he was appraising. I was fortunate enough to have the property re-appraised by a knowledgeable professional, and was able to save the sale. A local realtor called his work "reckless". There are plenty of appraisers out there, keep looking!
