This clown boy did a appraisal that came in $15,000 less than sales price. Used only 3 comps that where over 1 mile away from subject property. Made a $35,000 deduction on quality on a home that was completely renovated with finishes found in my higher priced homes.Had to send FHA file to another lender and second appraisal came in $5,000 above sales priced. I have sold over $2,000 homes and this guy has to be the most incompetent appraiser to date!!!

He was hired to do an appraisal for the mortgage company and presented an anacceptable report. He used incorrect measurements and comparables that were older than 12 months instead two recent sales that occurred in the several months, all in the same building! When an appeal was requested and pointing out these mistakes, he refused to change his errors. He refused to discuss or to defend his position. Very unprofessional experience.

John Horner did an appraisal on our home July 17, 2011 which was not complete nor correct with land acreage he totaly didn't mention the shop 50 ft from the house. We have left several messages and emails and faxes while he still will not reply to us.
